The opportunity
Project: As part of the National Centre for Culture and part of its 2040 strategy to promote cultural and artistic innovations. A state-of-the-art centre for arts and culture was a vision by the late His Majesty Sultan Qaboos to create a landmark location of an international scale, the aim of this arts and culture centre has the following objectives:
• As a dedicated place to collect, preserve and present credentials of Oman’s history and present
• As a vibrant space to present the live contemporary art and culture
• A link to local and international knowledge and cultural industries
• Provide an inspiring environment for Oman’s capital Muscat the nation and the region
The proposed centre will be the first of its kind in the middle east with buildings of national interest all under one roof this will also include facilities such as F&B outlets, cinema and art clubs. The whole centre will be set in fully landscaped gardens with water features.
We are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking senior MEP manager to join our established and growing team in Oman.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Reviewing the overall status of the MEP works reporting on the progress of all MEP aspects of the project to the project director, design and commercial team.
• Scheduling of design reviews at all gateways and control points.
• Organising and managing technical review team resources and input.
• Developing and monitoring the clients brief, directing the fast-track high-end design delivery scope and execution of the scheme.
• Developing a high performing team that strives for quality, safety, cost and schedule improvements at every opportunity with all delivery partners, challenging and seeking to improve the project deliverables.
Requirements

• With a relevant degree qualification, you will take personal development seriously and be chartered or pursuing a similar level of professional qualification.
• You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams.
