Senior Project Manager/Project Director

Job description / Role

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager/Project Director for a leading developer in Muscat, you will be reporting to the Head of Real Estate.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all phases of a construction project.
- Designs and implements project plans
- Day to day functioning of projects right from the inception through to completion.
- Managing and leading the project/construction team.
- Managing co-ordination with consultants, contractors and other parties
- Detailed project planning and control
- Managing project deliverables in line with the project plan.
- Recording and managing project issues and escalating where necessary.
- Managing project scope and change control and escalating issues where necessary.
- Monitoring project progress and performance.
- Providing status reports to the Head of Real Estate.
- Review the conditions of contract and manage the tendering process

Requirements

- Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 12 years of experience in construction industry, has worked with major contractors and developers in the Middle East
- Middle East Experience in villas/ luxury villas and residential apartments, Experience of large scale projects.
- Understanding of all facets of the construction process
- Strong 'on-site' experience
- Extensive Construction Management experience.
- Strong technical construction experience.
- PMP Certified
- Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
