Employment: Full Time

The key attributes required to fulfill a Senior Quantity Surveyor is providing full scope of pre-and post-contract quantity surveying services for two hotel projects in Muscat and Sohar, Sultanate of Oman.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will hold the following responsibilities and duties:
• Provision of full Pre and Post Contract QS services for hospitality - two hotel programmes in Muscat and Sohar, Oman
• Manage team(s) of Quantity Surveyors, Intermediate Quantity Surveyors and Trainee Quantity Surveyors
• Engender a team spirit that encourages delivery excellence
• Co-ordinate and work with the wider Faithful+Gould business
• Develop new business and repeat business from existing clients
• Cross sell new services to existing clients
• Retain and own close contact with client individuals

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Quantity Surveying or related
• Minimum 8+ years experience
• Ability to advise clients on project costs
• Effective and efficient knowledge of a range of project procurement options and services
• Computer literate
• Leadership
• Presentation skills
• Knowledge and understanding of component parts of a project and overall construction costs
