Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job description / Role

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will hold the following responsibilities and duties:

- Provision of full Pre and Post Contract Quantity Surveying services for hospitality programmes in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.
- Manage team(s) of Quantity Surveyors, Intermediate Quantity Surveyors and Trainee Quantity Surveyors.
- Engender a team spirit that encourages delivery excellence.
- Co-ordinate and work with the wider Faithful+Gould business.
- Develop new business and repeat business from existing clients.
- Cross sell new services to existing clients.
- Retain and own close contact with client individuals.

Technical Competencies / Qualifications / Experience Essential

- Bachelor Degree in Quantity Surveying or related.
- Minimum 10+ years experience.
- Ability to advise clients on project costs.
- Effective and efficient knowledge of a range of project procurement options and services.
- Computer literate.
- Leadership.
- Presentation skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of component parts of a project and overall construction costs.
