Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

PHYSICAL STOCK COUNTS

- Verification of handover sheets (checking includes opening balance, sales registered in Navision and closing balance)
- Verification of variances reported by DMs relating to handover sheets
- Verification of high value - high risk items such as watches, electronics, communication items, jewellery, prepaid cards, raffle ticket sales, gift vouchers
- Monitor un-posted transfers in Navision on a daily basis and follow-up with concerned merchandiser to complete posting
- Spot check fast moving products which are not covered within the handover sheets across all locations
- Carry out shift opening and ending counts, warehouse and back store stock spot checks on as stated in stock controller task list.
- Verification of items lying at Replacement location
- Random stock counts at Seaport - In-flight - Oman Air staff shop
- Verification of items returned to suppliers, removal from airport and issues to Head Office for various purposes
- Complete cyclical stock count of all department

PRICE AND BARCODE CHECKING

- Check the prices and barcotes of the Items for which barcodes are created by MDF (watches, jewellery, crystalware, cigar, toys, dry food items, toiletries, etc) Any inaccuracies found in retail prices or barcodes should be immediately advised to the concerned merchandisers and timely actions should be taken to rectify them.

Requirements

- Bachelor degree with 2-3 years of relevant experience
