Job description / Role
• Receives the incoming items. Ensures right quality and quantity. Coordinates with inspection department as per requirement.
• Maintains records like Goods Received Note , Stock Ledgers , Despatch Notes etc .Is responsible for inventory control , safety and security of the stores.
• Sets up the stores system in consultation with the Workshop Engineer/ Workshop manager
• Despatches of the repaired goods after due release by inspection department
• Maintains the store area , which includes own goods as well as customer goods, in a neat and orderly manner. Assists in internal as well as external material audits
• Manages logistics for the sent as well as received materials. Coordinates with external agencies / internal departments
Requirements
• Post High school – Vocational training /Certificate/Diploma related to Materials Management or similar.
• 5 years or more experience for Storekeeping and Logistics in Repair Workshops or similar.
• Good knowledge of Material incoming, Material outgoing , Storage and logistics procedures
• Good English communication skills- oral and written
• Desirable- Materials management software ( Excel/ Tally based)
