Job description / Role
- Undertake all tasks and duties as directed by his Superiors.
- Ensure the right price, quality, quantity and time of delivery.
- Ensure that all tools, materials and equipment used are handled, and-or operated in a safe and careful manner and loan items are returned to the stores.
- Ensure that all discrepancies noted are brought to the attention of his immediate superior.
- Ensure that all manuals and publications used are treated with care and returned to their storage location on completion of the task.
- Ensure that all work performed is carried out in a professional manner and all procedures, practices, cautions and requirements are observed.
- Ensure that all work areas and equipment are left clean and tidy on completion of work.
- Undertake any other task pertaining to GSE as and when directed.
- Deputize for Stores supervisor in his absence of leave.
- Act in the capacity of “Team Leader” when directed.
Requirements
- Secondary school Certificate with 4 years of experience preferably in spare parts store of heavy vehicle/equipment of aircraft ground support or similar industry or equivalent.
