Job description / Role
Our client a highly successful multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy requires a Structural Design Engineer to be based in their head office based in Muscat Oman.
Key responsibilities will include;
- Deliver efficient and economical structural engineering design o
- Provide mentoring, and technical guidance and support to engineering and drafting personnel within the team.
- Liaise with clients and other stakeholders providing technical input as required.
- Liaise with relevant authorities and stakeholders to ensure approvals are gained in an efficient and timely manner
- Undertake site inspections
- Attend meetings with clients and stakeholders to negotiate project outcomes
Requirements
To apply for the role you must meet the following criteria;
- Be degree educated in Structural Engineering or similar
- Have a minimum of 15 years experience working on the structural design of building projects
- Have at least 8 - 10 years experience working for an engineering consultancy
- Candidates in Oman with transferable visa preferred
- Indian or Sri Lankan nationals preferred
