Supply Chain Analyst/Procurement Planner - OMAN
We are seeking a dynamic Supply Chain Analyst/Procurement Planner to join our team in Oman. In this critical role, you will play a vital part in optimizing our supply chain operations and procurement processes to ensure the timely delivery of our food products. Your analytical skills and strategic thinking will contribute to enhancing efficiency and cost-effectiveness across our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Develop and maintain inventory management strategies to minimize waste and reduce costs.
- Monitor market conditions and supply chain dynamics to forecast needs and mitigate risks.
- Utilize forecasting tools and software to predict demand and align procurement strategies accordingly.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and supply chain metrics to management.
- Support the execution of procurement contracts and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and finance, to align procurement activities with business goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain analysis or procurement planning, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in supply chain software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to effectively interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Salary:
OMR
1,000 to 1,500
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
