Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Attends daily meetings & communicates with Operation, TSD, Planning, HSE and other departments for coordination of agreed maintenance request.
- Approved & implement solutions to maintenance process & activities ensuring risk of failures are fully detected, understood and mitigated.
- Analyse reliability diagnostic report & recommend changes to site-wide maintenance strategies/programs to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensuring the sustainability of reliability process, such as Bad Actors, Root Cause Failure Analysis, FMEA, MTBF, etc.
- Act as maintenance interface with engineering services to provide input on new capital projects.
- Works closely with maintenance team ensuring uninterrupted plant operations in a reliable, cost effective manner.
- Review, comment and approved maintenance processes, procedures, services, inspection frequencies / applicability of equipment.
- Provide guidance & support to maintenance team on identifying critical issues, bad actors of rotating equipment & minimize work backlogs.
- Review and update PM / PdM progress reports & contractor's performance and takes appropriate action for any issues arise.
- Evaluate job performance for PdM team and assist Department Manager and set key performance indicators for the department.
- Leads the development, implementation and management of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and other reliability techniques processes and standards
- Review and approved improvement strategies for maintenance, operations, engineering and purchasing to extend lifecycle and equipment usage, support cost reduction efforts
- Creates a positive work environment for maximizing the business impact of reliability engineering and rotating equipment integrity programs.
- Develop a well-defined back-up plan, such as organizing Predictive Maintenance (PdM) staff during on-call & emergency maintenance works in plant during silence hours / off duty
- Develop and provide effective Training Program for the development of young engineers

Requirements

- Minimum Qualifications for this position is a University degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in a similar role along with a minimum total experience of 12 years in the Predictive Maintenance - Rotating Services (Oil & Gas / Petrochemical or Refinery Plant experience preferred).
- Support to maintenance contract and shutdown related jobs.
- Sound judgment in technical matters with good skills in engineering field materials specifications and international standards.
- Knowledge of Steam turbines, Gas turbines, Centrifugal compressors, Reciprocating compressors, Pumps, Fans and Blowers, Dry Gas seals, Mechanical Seals etc.
- Judgment in technical matters with good skills in Predictive maintenance & international code and standards (ASME, API, ASTM, etc.)
- Predictive maintenance technology (vibration, oil, infrared/ thermography analysis)
- Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Expertise in SAP- PM
- Online vibration monitoring system ( Bentley Nevada System-1)
- Off-line vibration monitoring system (SKF aptitude & Emerson CSI 2140 / 2130)
- Broad understanding of relevant processes, plant and equipment regarding rotating equipment.
