Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Looking to hire Omani national for The Technical Support Specialist has to effectively interact with all the customers (Channel Partners, EPCs, Clients, and Consultants) and support them on all their technical related issues.

The jobholder has to work in close coordination, pro-actively and collaboratively with all the sales segments, Marketing / specification, Channel Management and service teams in the country to address any technical related issue of the customer. He/She has to work with all the respected BUs for the product updates and impart the same to the customers. He/she has the responsibility to reach established targets through actively meeting and resolving the issues of all the customers in order to build sustainable customer relationships to help and promote ABB’s growth strategy.

- Technical Support to the Oman customers (Channel partners, EPCs, Clients and consultants).
- Address the claims/quality issues (NCR and CCRPs) of all partners and the customers.
- Attend the customer complaints in coordination with the country service teams.
- Conduct product trainings for the channel partners for their respective products.
- To ensure the channel partner annual audits are completed on time and the actions are planned on the recommendations and findings.
- To support and educate the partners/customers for short circuit and discrimination studies.
- To conduct trainings for component selection (ArTu, T&B, UPS, SFC, MV, Motors, Drives …).
- Actively use SFDC to collaboratively share information in a systematic way.
- Help/support Customers in Earthing and Lightning protection system designs.

Requirements

- Relevant education (e.g. Bachelor degree) in business related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical support.
- Excellent skills in Customer relations and product knowledge.
- Good knowledge of ABB products/systems
- Detailed knowledge of the application and the processes of the products/solutions used by the customers.
- Actively demonstrates one face to the customer approach
- High standards of HSE and Integrity
