Terminal Operator (Operations)

Job description / Role

• Stores fuel in tanks and equipment used in receiving and storing fuel from interstate and intrastate pipelines pending wholesale bulk reshipment.
• Responsible for shifting to tank and tank to shift.
• Loading and offloading SBM.
• Receives and stores refined petroleum or a refined petroleum product in tanks and other equipment used in receiving and storing refined petroleum or a refined petroleum product from interstate and intrastate pipelines, pending wholesale bulk reshipment.
• Carries out a physical inspection of process equipment, safety and fire equipment, and personal protective equipment throughout shift. e. Takes outside readings and transfers to control room log sheet. Reports observed anomalies to shift Foreman or Control Operator.
• Identifies operating problems on the units and reports to shift foreman or control operator on the situation at the earliest opportunity. Makes recommendations on possible solutions to recurring problems.
• Watches and ensures the maintenance works are done in accordance with the job specifications and safety/environmental regulations

Requirements

• The ideal candidate must have a minimum 7 years of experience on similar position
• In Oil & Gas, Refining, Petrochemical, Fertilizer industry in maintenance department.
• Diploma in electrical/ mechanical / instrumentation.
