Maven is an automation tool which is used for conducting the Java based projects. In Yiddish Maven means “accumulator of knowledge”. It essentially addresses two features of software building which are description about software building and its dependencies. For Maven based projects, there is only need to write deviation instead conventions. An XML file in Maven based projects is used to give information about software building, its dependencies on some external modules, related build order, link libraries, directories and required plug-ins. Collection of codes and its packaging are being conduct with some pre-defined targets. Maven uses the dynamic environment to download the Java libraries and plug-ins from one directory to another directory like from Maven to central repository.
