A designated safeguarding officer is responsible for managing, recording and reporting any concerns regarding the welfare and safety of a child. As the first point of contact for other members of staff and concerned families, it is a safeguarding officer's duty to understand how to carry out safety procedures to protect children within the workplace and ensure their wellbeing is paramount.
This Safeguarding Officer Training level 3 Course introduces you to the responsibilities and duties of social care work and how to comply with safeguarding laws.
