Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Primary Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

G2N Controlling & Monitoring:

- Liaison with the trade marketing and field team to ensure better visibility and focus on G2N.
- Ensure spends are within budgets and these are properly actualized and recorded in the system.
- Perform ROI analysis of activities
- Ensure channel wise spends are in line with the plans

IBP Process:

- Lead the IBP process in the Demand consensus and Demand reviews
- Perform valuation exercise, ensure that plans are properly reflected IBP as agreed with the brands team along with the quantification of risk and opportunities.
- Ensure that changes in plans are agreed with the regional category team and leadership team.

Pricing:

- Obtain minutes of S&OP meeting/decision meeting including all stakeholders agreeing to price change. Also obtained the tentative timelines and pipeline management before the production on new prices
- Discuss with Master data team in case new material code needs to be issued
- Obtain IBRs from ISC for the cost structure of the SKUs
- Agree with Category Finance the % of price increase. In case of LUPs agree of the strategic price points on which the SKU needs to be placed
- Form the price structures for different channels as per SAP requirements
- Obtain approval from Brand Manager & Brand Director as per Authority Matrix on the new prices
- Share the printed price with production team on "Retail price communication" form
- Send the new price to be updated in SAP to Genpact team after ensuring that old stock has been depleted. In case of new material code provide the effective date of new code.

Overheads Planning and variance analysis:

- Bottom-up planning of overheads working with cross functional team and comparing with top down target. Align team on their budgets
- Ensure proper tracking and managing of budgets.
- Liaison with the MD and HR team in controlling and managing the company overheads.

Routine Activities:

- Corresponding to regional queries on monthly closing and reporting on Revenue, G2N and Overheads
- Ensure deadlines are met with respect to weekly posting, IBP submission, topline reporting and adhoc submissions
- Monthly closing of G2N, NR & Overheads

Requirements

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

Knowledge including: education, qualifications and training

- Masters Degree (Finance) /ACCA preferred
- Strong analytical and planning background

Skills:

- Advanced skills in Microsoft packages specifically Excel.
- Intimate knowledge and experience in operating ERP systems such as SAP.
- Effective communication with internal and external partners.
- Time management, ability to multitask prioritization and ability to work under pressure
- An ability to build strong relationship and influence business partners.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Good verbal /written communication skills.

Experience & Language requirement:

- Min 2 - 3 years of experience in a finance role ideally at a leading Multi-national within FMCG
- English, local language and others is a benefit
