Employment: Full Time

Under the direction of the Managing Director, the Brand Business Lead is responsible to develop, implement and execute strategic marketing plans to create awareness for the brand and meet the marketing goals and objectives of the company. He/she is responsible to direct the company's marketing initiatives, conduct market research and analysis to drive marketing strategies and plans.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Strategic Contribution:
- Devise the country's brand strategy consistent with the international brands positioning and the country's priorities to contribute to continued growth of the brands and the consumer relationship.
- Define 3-year brand business strategy and make concrete 1 year marketing plans.
- Work on brand portfolio priorities (new launches, pillar products' renewal and animation of core catalogue) and define pricing to grow strategy, promotions and placement strategy.
- Lead the marketing mix strategies for hero ranges (IMC/360/Digital/Ecom/Retail) and build integrated, engaging consumer brand experiences.
- Translate the brand's sense of purpose into the local retail strategy.
Functional Policies & Procedures:
- Ensure right levels of financial and process controls are in place and followed.
- Implementation of company marketing policies and provide guidance on standard policies and procedures.
- Own the brand patrimony, guarantee the brand identity: ensure that all marketing actions are in line with the sense of purpose while nourishing the brand.
Budget Management & Forecasting:
- Manage the P&L for the brand and ensure all business KPIs are being met.
- Prepares and monitor the marketing budget of all product lines of the brand and efficient allocation for marketing plans and ensure optimum utilization.
- Actively participate in demand and sales planning exercises with the relevant stakeholders to ensure the demand forecast accuracy for the category.
- Lead end to end forecasting activity of the portfolio along with commercial and Supply Chain team.
- Monitor actual vs. budgeted cost to highlight any variances for effective alignment.
- Forecast sales and profitability of the brand and devise pricing strategies in accordance with it.
Operations
- Create and drive local consumer and sales activation plan, shopper and market insights to guide the zone's activation strategy and ensure the consistency of new product/campaign development with the country's needs.
- Lead the new product launches and ensure that integrated marketing communications and trade marketing plans are all intact to support it.
- Initiate the business cases for new projects including product development, marketing tools innovation, and team structures.
- Lead all the marketing mix strategies and local adaptation of communication (imagery, digital, point of sales) to increase the market share.
- Deploy and execute successful marketing campaigns from ideation to execution and optimize the ROI.
- Own the brand's heritage and ensure that all the 6Ps are in alignment with the sense of purpose of the brand.
E-Commerce
- Lead Ecommerce transformation and end-to-end E-commerce plans by ensuring A+ content/visibility, activation/promo, launches and expansion in line with brand's strategic vision & guidelines.
- Collaborate with the e-commerce manager to accelerate the growth of e-commerce channel.
Professional Recommendation:
- Liaison with functional heads to aware them about the latest marketing campaigns and guide how each business unit can play their role for effectiveness of the campaigns.
- Stay abreast with the business aspects and give business advice to the country and zonal head.
- Lead the market research and analyze consumer data and market insights to innovate ideas for new products launches and development as per the country's requirements.
Agency Management
- Builds, negotiate and execute Joint Business Plans with marketing agencies (media /BA/Digital /Creatives /PR/ Activation /Research agencies) to achieve business objectives by creating win-win situation.
- Monitor and ensure the JPBS are followed and ensure compliance.
- Identify and evaluate new agencies in the market as per the company guidelines.
- Negotiate with marketing agencies to close competitive deals.
- Ensure invoices payment approval invoices and marketing bills as per the authorized plans.
Cross Functional Teamwork/ Business Partnering
- Mobilize other departments like Sales, Operations, and Finance and partner agencies to develop a broader business strategy and align on common goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams like sales, operations, and trade marketing to help the team meet sales target and drive brand priorities.
- Define clear messages to present to top management and accompany the teams in the preparation of meetings.
Market Analytics
- Analyze and identify metrics to track the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insights and measure against objectives.
- Based on metrics and analysis, improve, and make modifications in the marketing plans.
Continuous Improvement:
- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of the department's systems, processes, and practices while considering international best practices, cost reduction, and improvement of business processes and productivity.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration with major in Sales and / or Marketing
• Master's degree in business administration with major in Sales and / or Marketing would be preferable Minimum Experience:
• 6-8 years of experience in brand management with a stint of both, online and offline marketing
• Working experience of trade marketing, sales, e-commerce, and digital marketing
• Finance (P&L, price & PRI settings, sales forecast knowledge)
• Knowledge of new media technologies strong focus on digital
• Knowledge of products, market trends and consumers
• Research data analysis
• Knowledge of & in-store Retail Management experience
