Construction Director

Job description / Role

Michael Page are working with a Real Estate Developer to help identify a Construction Director for a mega mixed use project in Pakistan.

The company is developing a multibillion dollar mega mixed use masterplan consisting of residential, commercial towers, residential communities, schools, hospitals, public spaces, retail districts and shopping along with all infrastructure, utilities and more

• CD will be responsible for all construction packages on the project including civil (infra, utilities) and construction(buildings)
• Role will coordinate with the design team from schematic (coordination) , participate with tender process and have full construction oversight from contract award to handover and completion
• The company does Design Management & Project Management internally, so the CD will have to look at current team and grow the PMCM team once joining
• Role will manage the internal PMCM team and the contractors

Requirements

• 15-20 years’ experience
• As this role will be very demanding and will consist of alot of site work the CD needs to have an energetic, pro active personality that can deal with a fast paced environment
• Developer experience is most suitable, PMC or contractor experience will be very beneficial
• BSc in Civil Engineering
• Experience as a construction manager throughout career is most suitable
• Needs to have experience managing multi billion AED/SAR projects/multiple projects at one time
• Must have experience at Head management role, managing large teams and responsible for full project delivery (*Senior Manager(mega projects) – Director/Head level)
• Mixed use masterplan projects experience is most suitable
• Candidates should have gulf experience
