About the Role:

The role of the Head of Supply Development is to develop and implement FleetCo aggressive growth strategy in the local market to secure Careem's short-term and long-term supply requirements. The perfect candidate would be from a general management and consultancy background.

Responsibilities include:

- Set-up fleet related start-up operations from scratch
- Recruit/ set-up a high performing cross functional team
- Develop creative initiatives to maximize fleet utilization
- Map and optimize key processes in order to minimize burn
- Manage the relationship with key stakeholders both internally (city GMs, operations) and externally (existing and potential partners such as government, banks, OEM's, etc.)
- Expedite and manage the process of setting up supply related partnershipsDevelop key processes for overall business operations
- Scale efficiently supply/ demand platform

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a passionate commitment to improving the lives of people, an insane focus on excellence and customer service, and a strong alignment with our core values: being bold, focused, agile and collaborative.

- 9+ years of experience leading teams; 7+ Experience in setting up and managing large businesses (full Profit & Loss general management experience)
- Self-starter, independent and entrepreneurial
- Technology and operations savvy
- Start-up and e-commerce experiences are a plus
- Six Sigma black belt is a plus
- Minimum Bachelor degree, MBA preferred
- Must have the ability to work in a fast-pace, target driven environment
