Job description / Role
HR Business Partner - Karachi, Pakistan
Our client, a leading oil and gas firm, is looking to hire an HR manager to work closely with the Regional HR Director to deliver the regions business plans to be based in Pakistan
In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:
• Driving improvements in the provision of people management processes across the region ensuring HR is equipped to support growth plans including enhanced integration programmes and new acquisitions
• Deploy the company mission and values through all Regional people activities, operating to the HR policy frameworks and best practices
• Advise on and then put into place the appropriate organization structure, people and competencies to achieve the Regional strategy & business stream goals
• Provide support and advice to Business Line Leader on people issues in accordance with local policy and practice
Requirements
The successful candidate for this role requires a;
• Can do approach with the energy, resilience & openness to navigate the ambiguities of the changing organization and challenges
• Structured personal style with a business results driven focus
• Credibility of achievements in creating and putting in place simple profitable HR changes in complex multi-site, multi country businesses
• Operated successfully in an international matrix & multi cultural business
• Formal professional qualification and training in HR.
• 10+ years into career with width in different organizations. Oil and Gas experience would be an advantage
• Proven track record of setting-up and establishing an HR function
• Familiar with Pakistan Labour Laws
Education & Experience
• Degree in relevant discipline
• Ability to travel within Pakistan
