Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Primary Accountabilities / Responsibilities

Management Reporting and Analysis

- MMPR deck
- Support Management in forecasting cycles

G2N Controlling & Monitoring

- Formulate a plan and discuss and agree with Sales, CP&A and MD on the G2N plan for the year
- Drive sales strategy based on building blocks
- Drive growth agenda through new route-to-market initiatives
- Liaison with the trade marketing and field team to ensure better visibility and focus on G2N.
- Ensure spends are within budgets and these are properly actualized and recorded in the system.
- Perform ROI analysis of activities
- Ensure channel wise spends are in line with the plans

IBP Process

- Lead the IBP process in the Demand consensus and Demand reviews
- Ensure that plans are properly reflected IBP as agreed with the brands team along with the quantification of risk and opportunities.
- Ensure that changes in plans are agreed with the regional category team and leadership team.

Pricing

- Discuss and agree with Category Finance the % of price increase. In case of LUPs agree of the strategic price points on which the SKU needs to be placed
- Ensure that the pricing mechanism conforms to the local taxation requirements and timely actions are taken accordingly.

Overheads Planning and variance analysis

- Drive the country overheads agenda and inculcate cost conscious culture
- Bottom-up planning of overheads working with cross functional team and comparing with top down target. Align team on their budgets
- Ensure proper tracking and managing of budgets.
- Liaison with the MD and HR team in controlling and managing the company overheads.

Receivable and overdues

- Drive the DSO and overdue agenda through better planning of credit process
- Liaison with CS&L to ensure that the monthly plans are inline with the targets and sales are done accordingly.

Routine Activities

- Corresponding to regional queries on monthly closing and reporting on Revenue, G2N and Overheads
- Ensure deadlines are met with respect to weekly posting, IBP submission, topline reporting and adhoc submissions
- Monthly closing of G2N, NR & Overheads

Requirements

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Language Requirements

Knowledge: including education, qualifications and training

- Professional degree in Finance, Accounting (Preferably a Chartered Accountant)
- Deep expert knowledge of Statutory Accounting (IFRS)
- Deep knowledge of Indirect tax / sales tax laws and regulations and accounting.

Experience

- 6-8 years of experience in Accounting preferably in international business environment, good knowledge of Indirect tax and direct tax accounting
- Strong knowledge and experience in working with financial systems example: SAP, Excel, Hyperion Financial Management etc
- Good communication and strong people management skills , bias for action etc.
