Employment: Full Time

Position purpose:

To provide MEA FP&A Manager and Director Finance with in-depth analysis of business results versus targets across all Countries and Categories, leading to the identification of opportunities and challenges and recommendations for appropriate actions to address them. The scope of the role geographically is Middle East and Africa (MEA) which is part of the AMEA Region. This will enable impactful decision making and uplift capability building of FP&A competencies.

Reports solid line to the FP&A Manager MEA and works closely with the Category Finance team to drive business results.

Primary Accountabilities / Responsibilities

The primary purpose of the role is to assist the FP&A Manager with all key planning and reporting processes for MEA Business Unit and partner with Category Finance team for delivery of timely and insightful analysis to support decision making and identifying and managing risks and opportunities.

Position Accountability Summary:

- Lead the Net Revenue and Operating Income Flash submissions to the region by actively liaising with different Finance functions and understand the drivers vs plan
- Drive period close reviews and margin drivers with category and cost controllers to build understanding of results and variances to plan
- Review the month close Financial decks prepared by Genpact and circulate to Senior Management
- Prepare the Actuals and Quarter Outlook Review Deck and review with the FP&A Manager
- Review the bi-weekly Posting file prepared by the FP&A/Overheads Analyst and propose the Regional posting to the FP&A Manager. Clearly explain the drivers for the variances to IBP, Latest Forecast, Last Posting. Submit the regional posting to the region
- Overview the Monthly MEA BU Dashboard inputs compiled by the Genpact resource. Link with the Country Commercial Finance Teams/MDs to clarify any discrepancies and submit the dashboard inputs to the region
- Actively participate in the monthly IBP Planning cycle and understand the key drivers vs the last cycle, latest forecast and the annual contract.
- Update and Finalize the Finance slides for Monthly Planning Cycle (IBP) MEA MBR and IR decks with the FP&A/Overheads Analyst and MEA IBP Lead. Review both the decks with the FP&A Manager.
- Coordinate all Quarterly Forecasts and Annual Contract activities and timelines with the Category Finance teams
- Liaise with Market Commercial Finance Teams and Category Finance Teams to ensure adherence to Forecast Submission timelines and accuracy of results including P&L, EVA and offline schedules
- Support the FP&A Manager with all adhoc analysis, presentations for the MEA Leadership

Requirements

Qualifications

Knowledge: including education, qualifications and training

- Degree in Business/Finance /Accounting preferably with advanced studies/training (e.g., MBA, MBM, CA, ACCA, CPA etc.)

Experience

- 6-8 years' experience working across finance disciplines with a minimum of 2-3 years in a relevant FP&A function or Commercial Finance (Business Partnering) roles
- Experience in a fast-paced multinational organization, working in cross-functional, cross-cultural and matrix environments
- Knowledge of US GAAP, accounting and internal control policies and procedures applicable to an integrated manufacturing and marketing organization
- Strong written and oral communication skills with a proven ability to influence at all levels
- Demonstrated results in analysis, accounting, internal controls, business propositions, project management and cross functional team leadership
- Self-driven and accustomed to delivering in a highly pressurized environment
