The opportunity

Project: Islamabad - A gated community spread over 2.7 million square yards, encompassing an 18 hole golf course with clubhouse, luxury villas and apartments.

A full-time site-based planning engineer in Pakistan. This role is for Pakistan nationals and is a requirement of the project commitments.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the development of scheduling reports.
• Performing baseline schedule maintenance and control.
• Collecting and interpreting schedule data and providing output to the programme and project teams.
• Monitoring actual performance against the schedule to identify delay, early and late completion.
• Interfacing with the project technical staff to define change to schedules and identification of variances from the original plan.
• Identifying associated schedule, resource conflicts and potential cost impacts and issues.
• Monitoring of site documents.
• Keeping working schedule, communication, documentation, quantities and attachments via technical offices located in the field.
• Preparing progress payments of similar sized projects, enforcing the contractor demands by checking their conformity with the agreement, preparation of inspection reports, preparing final accounts and classification and arrangement of all documents pertaining to the project as well as monitoring project process with modern methods, updating construction costs and making results thereof into reports.

Requirements

About you

• You have a civil engineering or relevant degree.
• You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and will provide strong, motivated teams.
• You will have a construction or cost consultancy project management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace have to offer
