Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for creating products which includes: writing, maintaining and releasing of new programs
• Ability to partner with Secondary, Marketing, Operations, and Production personal to help with product and/or guideline scenarios
• Provide assistance with Sales Management as it relates to Product exception request
• Assist in the product development for agency, specialty lenders, and affordable housing
• Oversee the development of short and long term goals to meet product objectives and the implementation of appropriate long term strategic plans and presents them to management
• Communicate to Investors on product related questions requiring strong verbal and written communication skills
• Manages the development and maintenance of competitive analysis and market research of competing products and services to identify customer needs and trends within the digital channels
• Work in close communication with the Conventional and Government Product Specialists from all channels of business.
• May perform other duties and projects as assigned.
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
• Be a team player and provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.
• Must maintain regular attendance.

Requirements

• Experience with a variety of loan programs: Conventional, FHA, USDA, VA, Non-Conforming, Jumbo, Non-QM and secondary marketing guidelines to manage complex loan level issues, etc.
• Requires a minimum of 5 years related experience.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Leadership and business acumen
• Proficient with all existing and emerging investor loan products and guidelines
• Must have knowledge of price, volume, marketing, and supply and demand relationships.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with the public in person and by telephone.
• Ability to organize, be attentive to details and respond quickly and effectively under pressure.
• Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions.
• Knowledge of mortgage industry preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, and internet.
