EY Rapid Innovation

As a Multinational Member Firm in the EY network, Rapid Innovation, based in Karachi, exclusively provides its services to MENA based EY Member Firms to support audit and non-audit engagements across the MENA region, excluding Pakistan. The work is executed remotely by working virtually with our MENA onshore teams and sometime may require travel to MENA EY offices

The opportunity

This opportunity is within our Financial Accounting and Advisory Services practice, which covers a wide range of accounting and reporting, transaction accounting, treasury, finance and digital transformation and corporate governance services that can help clients meet changing market conditions and regulatory requirements.

We are looking for Senior Consultants / Assistant Managers / Managers to support and manage the delivery of cost optimization and rationalization, and cost allocation and budgeting reviews for large clients based across MENA.

Your key responsibilities

• As a Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager / Manager, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution.

To qualify for the role you must have

• Experience with at least two comprehensive cost optimization/ reduction/ rationalization projects at large companies. This must include review of all type of expenses
• Experience with reviewing companies’ budgets and the budgeting process, including experience with zero-based budgeting.
• Experience with developing and reviewing cost allocation frameworks based on ABC costing
• The ability, and willingness to travel within the Middle East where project requirements dictate
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant subject such as Finance, Accounting, Engineering and a professional certification like ACCA, CA, CPA, CIMA or CMA; OR MBA or Master’s in Finance ( CA finalists with 2 – 3 papers remaining can also be considered)
