Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Roles Summary:

This position is supposed to perform all kinds of activities like system administration and configuration to ensure availability of system, service, and KPI achievement.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Ensuring all basic O&M of the assigned systems containing SAP, OSS, and other NMS systems.
- Performing regular O&M activities, administration, backup, high availability maintenance, script writing and trouble-shooting of NMS to ensure the continuity of OSS services, and SAP services.
- Ensuring regular O&M activities for Unix/Solaris/Windows OS, networks, and DB administration.
- Maintaining the standard of NMS systems KPI by reducing outage.
- Taking part in upgrading SW and HW.
- Taking part in statistical data provisioning by using BI tools.
- Studying HW and SW offers and proposals.
- Ensuring expert vendor support for UNIX/Windows OS, system high availability feature, database (Sybase, Oracle) administration, and Oracle/HP workstations problem & troubleshooting.

Requirements

Work Experience & Qualifications:

- B.sc degree in electrical, computer engineering/science, or equivalent.
- Two years of experience in UNIX/Windows administration and support.
- Two years of experience in database & networks administration.
- Knowledge of GSM, WCDMA, and OSS architecture would be an advantage.
- Very good analytical ability and problem solving attitude.
- Good experience in SAP BI Administration.
- Excellent communication skill & good team approach.
- Self-motivated, creative, positive and ownership approach to challenges.
