Job description / Role
Linum Consult’s client is a consultancy offering architectural and MEP engineering design services. They are urgently seeking an MEP BIM Manager to join their team in the Philippines.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Managing the MEP design deliverable in accordance with requirements and ensuring all design work is completed to the required standards
• Coordinating all construction/design matters between the key project stakeholders; lead consultant, contractor and the end client
• Leading and implementing a project information and collaboration system to better manage and control the design and build of the project
• Implementing BIM workflow process standards based on the BIM level 3 concept
• Upgrading 2D MEP shop drawings to higher LODs
• Reviewing and monitoring the Design Team’s procedures, processes and quality management plans, ensuring distribution of all construction and design information to the relevant parties
• Reviewing, recommending and establishing requirements for control samples and coordinating these with the Design Team consultants
• Reviewing and managing all construction/design related queries to an amicable solution
• Assisting in any other design matters where relevant
Requirements
• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 10-15 years’ working experience in the Engineering field, preferably on Major Construction Projects, such as high rise or complex buildings
• Significant history of working consistently for consultancies
• Excellent understanding of the BIM process
• Excellent knowledge of Project Management software, with strong computer skills
• Candidates will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an independent and tactful work ethic
• Filipino nationals preferred
