Job description / Role

Contracts Manager - Philippines

Prepares, analyze, and reviews the overall process in bid submission, awarding and contract management. In charge of monitoring contract variations ensuring that company will be protected contractually and commercially.


Bid Preparation & Risk Analysis
• Undertakes project risk analysis of bids requested by Estimating and provides inputs on bid submission and award negotiation process;

Budget Management
• Provides project operations with timely, updated project budgets;

Contract Management & Review
• Initiate actions to improve cash flow and improve margins to include regular contract reviews with Operations and Finance;
• Review sub contractors agreements, conditions, payments, claims and final accounts;
• Reviews project correspondences and contributes commercial and contractual inputs to project site issues;
• Prepares and reviews pre-bid, consortium, JV, client agreements as required;
• Supports all the company’s operating divisions in the proper interpretation of contract documents;

• Identifies, initiates, hires, trains, appraises Engineers in contract management;

• Comply with safety policy and standard procedures; and

• Perform other tasks that maybe assigned from time to time.

Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer, preferably MBA graduate or its equivalent

With 10 years’ experience in Project Construction Management, 5 years of which were spent in a managerial capacity, should possess an outstanding leadership skill and should be able to deal effectively with employees on all levels of organization

Certification/License Required: Licensed CE
