Principal Public Health Engineer

Job description / Role

A top international consultancy providing comprehensive mechanical and electrical design solutions as well as specialist public health services, has an immediate requirement for a Principal Public Health Engineer, to head up their expanding team in the Manila.

As Leader of the Public Health Team, you will have responsibility for managing a team of Engineers and CAD Technicians undertaking the design and design review of public health services including gas, domestic water & drainage services and fire protection systems. Working across a broad range of project sectors including commercial, residential, hotel, education and retail the successful individual will be involved in initial client briefings, project management, ensuring designs are produced in line with local and international standards and codes, and preparing specifications, calculations and reports and coordinating with other disciplines.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have a BA/B.Sc. in mechanical / buildings services engineering or related discipline and 10+ years of experience, ideally within an international consulting engineering firm. A strong design background and a good working knowledge of international regulations, codes and standards relating to public health design are required. You will have impeccable communication and client facing skills and a proven ability of delivering projects on time and within budget.
