Quantity Surveyor Site Engineer

Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cost Engineer/ Quantity Surveyor (Filipino National) to work remotely, the ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing cost estimates, conducting revenue analysis and forecasts, tracking actual costs, and identifying cost variances. This role is vital in ensuring projects stay within budget and meet financial goals.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Calculate actual revenue and forecast the remaining work based on program of works.
• Develop and manage cost reports for the project, including cost-to-complete assignment on a monthly basis.
• Monitor manpower allocations and forecast project-specific allocations.
• Perform quantity surveying tasks, including preparing bill of quantities/bill of materials and coordinating with procurement team to determine rates and estimated costs.
• Track actual costs, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Support the Project Manager and other project stakeholders in cost-related decision-making.
• Prepare, review, and follow up on client and subcontractor payment applications, ensuring all supporting documents comply with contractual clauses and timelines.
• Good Knowledge of construction/ engineering principles, financial management, and numerical analysis.
• Proficiency in cost reporting techniques and financial analysis.
• Prepare, submit, and track variations and claims.
• Document controlling.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Work Environment:

• This is a remote (work-from-home) position.
• International travel may be required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cost engineering / quantity surveying.
• Experience with cost control software and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
