Job description / Role
Linum Consult’s client is a consultancy offering architectural and MEP engineering design services. They are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer specialising in building services design to join their team in Manila.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Managing the delivery of building services packages of works/design requirements during the electrical construction/ installation phase
• Coordinating all electrical design-related matters and solutions between the client, contractors and specialist electrical subcontractors
• Ensuring all design changes, value engineering, and solutions are implemented into the project design documentation
• Reviewing and monitoring the design team’s construction/design processes, procedures and quality management plans
Requirements
• Degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputable university, preferably with Chartered Status
• Strong history of working on international projects for consultants
• Experience of building services design for industrial buildings or high rise and complicated buildings
• Excellent adaptability skills, with the ability to work on your own initiative and manage a team of consultants/designers
• Good knowledge of American and British electrical design codes; good holistic understanding of design as well as design details
• Filipino nationals preferred
• Excellent communication skills in written and verbal English
