Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job description / Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial and cost management functions of an established international construction company in Manila. The Opportunity

Working closely with global project teams, you will play a key role in the commercial delivery of major high-end fit-out projects, including luxury hospitality, commercial buildings, and iconic developments.
The role offers flexible remote working, with occasional travel to the company’s Manila office.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, manage, and monitor project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts
• Oversee procurement processes, including preparation of BOQs, tender documents, and bid evaluations
• Conduct detailed measurement and valuation of works (including variations and change orders)
• Assess subcontractor packages, negotiate terms, and support contract administration
• Ensure accurate cost reporting, commercial governance, and alignment with project requirements
• Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and senior leadership across multiple international locations
• Support value engineering initiatives and provide commercial insights to optimise project delivery

Experience Required

• Experience working in the Middle East.
• Strong background in interior fit-out, luxury finishes, or specialist subcontracting
• Proven experience on large-scale, high-end, or iconic interior projects
• 8–12 years’ Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management experience
• Strong understanding of international construction contracts and commercial processes
• Excellent communication skills in English and Filipino / Tagalog, comfortable working with cross-border teams
• High-level proficiency in cost management software and measurement tools
