Our newest opportunity is for a talented Project Engineer - Waste and Environment - Landfill to join our award-winning team based in Porto, Portugal. This position is responsible for providing support on various design and waste management projects across the Gulf Region.

Responsibilities

We envisage success in this role to include

- Develop and prepare design drawings (including 3D modelling), reports, analysis, research and presentations relating to landfill, lagoon, remediation and earthworks in accordance with applicable legislation and local conditions.
- Undertake engineering calculations relating to landfill design (geosynthetics, hydrology, geotechnical stability) and waste management planning (waste generation modelling).
- Develop design related tender documentation including BOQ's (bill of quantities), specifications and CQA plan.
- Assist in the preparation and contribute to the content of tenders proposals for the Sustainability and Environment Division and any cross discipline bids for other KEO Divisions.

Requirements

Qualifications

- To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 3 years' work experience partnered with a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering.
- It is essential to demonstrate consultancy experience in landfill / water containment design and remediation in accordance with international best practice.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D on landfill and earthworks design tasks is required.
- Working towards Chartered status and / or Professional Membership will be viewed favourably.
