Charterhouse is working with an Aerospace and Defence organisation who are partnered with the Qatari Government offering bespoke educational support and training packages to its technical staff. The technical unit is self-sufficient which has developed its own identity as a training delivery organisation, focusing on high-performance and safety.

About the role
You will be responsible for the leadership and management of the organisation’s English, Mathematics and Science programs. The role will lead the technical institute’s higher education offerings, from formation to application, in support of the unit’s overall strategy. You will also work closely with the Vocational Training Manager and proactively engage to determine new and emerging training requirements.

The position is required to work closely with the operations manager to ensure all programs and educational solutions are delivered to time, quality, and budget. Engaging with the Management team, the Academic Manager will ensure all vocational and academic functions remain updated and consistent with training.

In addition, you will be responsible for proactively engaging with future students and designing talent attractions methods to ensure the best students are attracted to the program.

Requirements

You will be Degree qualified and hold a specific teaching qualification. You will have experience and thorough knowledge of the UK Educational System and will have managed educational programs and teams within a young adult learning training provider. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to communicate and coordinate between multiple business units, managing large numbers of staff in a fast paced environment. Excellent written and spoken English is required. Previous experience of working in a similar role in the Middle East is desirable.
