Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a well-established investment company in Qatar who are looking to hire an Accountant to join their expanding accounting and budgeting team.
As an Accountant, you will report to the Corporate Accounting and Budgeting Manager and communicate effectively with other departments regarding budgets. In this role you will liaise with different departments and international offices to prepare and discuss annual budgets and examine estimates. You will actively monitor departments’ performance highlighting any shortages whilst also ensuring complete and accurate budgets as well as maintaining accounting entries in accordance with budget and accounting standards.
Requirements
The successful candidate should be a fully qualified ACA/CA/ACCA/CIMA with at least 4 years’ experience in an accounting and budgeting role for a reputable firm or equivalent experience with a “Big 4” accounting firm. Candidates should possess strong technical accounting skills with proficiency in IFRS. Demonstrable communication skills are essential. Generous salary plus relocation assistance shall be provided.
