Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

We are currently working in partnership with one of the leading real estate development companies in Qatar. The company which is a subsidiary of a much larger Middle Eastern conglomerate, focuses primarily on the development and management of high-end designs and options within residential, retail and commercial capacities. The company are seeking an Accounting Manager for their office in Doha who will manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.

Your role will encompass all aspects of finance including system entries and documenting transactions, accounts payable and receivable, month and year-end processes, general ledger, treasury and budgeting and capital asset reconciliations. Furthermore, you will be responsible for revenue and expenditure analysis, cash forecasting, assessing debt activity and producing financial reports and statements and as such, you will be self-motivated with a level high attention to detail. This is a pivotal role with regards to running the department and you will therefore be required to establish and enforce methods, policies and principals, working towards IFRS principles. Meeting department objectives, you will also assist with coordinating and completing annual audits whilst providing recommendations to improve compliance and system procedures.

Salary:
QAR 20000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

The successful candidate must have had experience working in a large real estate or property company. It is also essential that you possess an accountancy qualification of CIMA, CPA or equivalent and you must have absolute proficiency in spoken and written English language skills with an exceptional eye for detail and strong work ethic.
