Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

1.Review, verify, and process vendor invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
2. Prepare and process payments to vendors, ensuring that payment terms are met and cash flow is properly managed.
Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
3.Communicate with vendors to resolve billing issues, discrepancies, and ensure timely processing of payments.
4.Assist in the preparation and management of employee expense reports, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to company policies.
5.Assist in month-end closing activities by preparing and reviewing accounts payable reports, accruals, and supporting documentation.
6.Maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions and ensure they are properly filed for audit purposes.
7.Prepare accounts payable reports for management, highlighting any issues or discrepancies that need attention.
8. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, company policies, and accounting standards during the accounts payable process.

Requirements:

1.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2.Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Associate or similar role (1+ years).
3.Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and accounting principles.
4.Experience with accounting software
5.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (ability to work with formulas, pivot tables, etc.).
6.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
7.Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Salary:
QAR 11,000 to 12,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
