Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

1.Prepare and send accurate customer invoices in a timely manner, ensuring all necessary details are included and in compliance with customer agreements.
2. Monitor and manage customer accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments.
3. Accurately post payments received, whether by check, wire transfer, or credit card, into the company’s accounting system.
4. Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies or billing issues in coordination with sales and customer service teams.
5. Follow up on overdue accounts, contact customers to discuss past-due invoices, and work with them to establish payment arrangements if necessary.
6. Prepare aging reports, track outstanding balances, and provide regular updates to management on the status of accounts receivable.
7.Investigate and resolve any billing or payment issues, working closely with internal departments and customers to come to a resolution.
8. Assist in the month-end closing process, ensuring that accounts receivable balances are accurately reported and properly reflected in financial statements.

Requirements:

1.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2.Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Associate or in a similar finance role (1+ years).
3.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.
4.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems).
5.Advanced Excel skills, including working with formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
6.Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams.

Salary:
QAR 12,000 to 13,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
