Established in 2001 as a partnership between Cornell University and Qatar Foundation, WCM-Q is part of Weill Cornell Medicine in New York and shares its mission of dedication to excellence in education, patient care, and research.

The first medical school in Qatar and a pioneer of coeducation at a university level, WCM-Q offers an integrated program of pre-medical and medical studies leading to the Cornell University M.D. degree. Teaching is by Cornell and Weill Cornell faculty, including physicians at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) who hold Weill Cornell appointments.
WCM-Q is in its 15th year of operation and is seeking a candidate for Administrative Officer I.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Dean’s Office, the incumbent of this position is responsible for managing effective systems and protocols within the Dean’s Office Administration, will manage the Dean and Vice Dean’s calendars, coordinate travel, organize events, conduct research in order to prepare briefing materials, prepare reports, and coordinate confidential and sensitive communications among Dean’s Office and all internal and external parties and will also assists the Executive Director of Dean’s Office Administration with special projects as needed.

A motivated, self-starter, proactive individual with proven analytical and problem-solving skills is what we are looking for in this position!
Having previously demonstrated excellent project management skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to multi-task with demanding time frames is a requirement. Prior experience in process improvement, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills is essential.
