Job description / Role
- Responsible and accountable for the provision of necessary support to the Manager, Insurance Risk Management by
maintaining up-to-date documentation, facilitating communication, and providing administrative support smooth to ensure the
insurance function delivers services across QD in an efficient and timely manner.
- Maintain insurance risk register and keep track of insurance expiry.
- Update the ERP and insurance system with submitted insurance policies
- Follow up on pending insurance matters with departments and entities
- Work closely and effectively with the Insurance Manager and keep him/her informed of upcoming commitments and
responsibilities on insurance
- Manage and distribute documents related to Insurance Management
- Prepare and arrange distribution of outgoing correspondences to relevant parties, functions, and entities.
- Draft and prepare reports on insurance status
- Provide update on insurance matters when required.
- Work closely with Insurance Manager to prepare status updates and presentations related to insurance.
- Communicate directly, and on behalf of the Insurance Manager. with other employees on matters related to insurance
management
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed as well as determine and manage priorities with minimal guidance and
supervision.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of technical experience in insurance management
- Proficient in using word processing, database, and other IT applications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or similar discipline.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining high level or accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and assignments
