Architectural Draftsman

- Provide layouts, general arrangements and detailed technical drawings on AutoCAD & Solid Works in accordance with the timeline, quality, assurance standards and clients project specifications.
- Preparing and plot architectural and interior design drawings
- Preparing specifications based on technical knowledge, given information and/or sketch drawings
- Preparing tender, construction, as-built & shop drawings for architectural and interior design drawings
- Add structural details to architectural plans from their knowledge of building techniques
- Producing fully coordinated and accurate sets of drawings
- Develop enhanced architectural features and proficient in CAD design.
- Able to create and/or re-design layouts and space plans.
- Experience in system furniture and able to specify furniture and interior finishes.
- Job responsibility includes but not limited to all CAD layout, space planning, and sample board presentation.
- Prepare multiple versions of designs for review by engineers and architects
- Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures for new building projects or products
- Occasional site visits
- Work under the supervision of architect
- Knowledgeable with 3D Max, and other graphic software including ability to develop renders would be of an advantage

Requirements

- Expertise in AutoCAD
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Excellent coordination and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Experience working with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator would be preferable
- Excellent mathematical ability and technical understanding
- Extensive knowledge of materials and technical British specifications related to interior design.
- Critical thinker and detail orientated
- 3-5 years' experience assisting Interior Designer in reputable company in GCC
