Job Description

• Conducts daily meetings with supervisors.
• Conducts departmental communication meetings with the housekeeping team.
• Conducts and records inventories, supplies, lost & found, linen for food and beverage and room linen.
• Ensures cleanliness and hygiene standards in all hotel areas.
• Recommends aesthetic standards for quality upgrade of housekeeping products, amenities, and services.
• Ensures adherence to company and hotel policies on all departmental employees.
• Checks and controls the availability and proper usage of supplies and materials.
• Ensures maintenance and upkeep of garden areas and indoor/outdoor plants as per international standards.
• Ensures aesthetic standards of flower arrangements in the hotel.
• Ensures quality laundering and dry cleaning of guest and house linen through effective coordination of the laundry department.
• Ensures adherence to international standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all areas (guest, heart of the house).
• Controls, requests, and purchases guest room and other supplies in order to maintain established par.
• Ensures daily inspection of guest rooms and for VIP arrival.
• Ensures checklist for room inspection is done daily by supervisor.
• Prepares duty roster for all housekeeping employees of different sections.
• Prepares budget, inventories, and monthly profit and loss report.
• Oversees the linen room and ensures smooth uniform and linen exchange.
• Organisation of housekeeping and laundry.
• Compilation of and adherence to financial budgets within their field.
• Cooperation with the hotel's front office and engineering.
• The following duties within the frame of work: General / Miscellaneous.
• Be fully aware of the talk of the walk for the day.
• Proper grooming at all times.
• Attends behavioral and vocational training in work-related areas to enhance and develop multifunctional skills.
• Shows fullest cooperation and respect within the team and other departments.
• Is aware of the daily activities and has product knowledge of all the hotel facilities.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping management experience in a similar role is essential, preferably in a luxury hospitality setting.
• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
• Guest-focused with a passion for service and standards excellence.
• Proficiency in housekeeping management software.
• In-depth knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and hospitality industry standards.
• Relevant housekeeping or hospitality certifications are a plus.
• Must be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
• Fluency in English.
