Assistant Procurement Manager

Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Procurement Manager to join the dynamic team of our client based in Doha, Qatar. The company is one of the leading companies in the region that provides integrated facility management services.

This role is critical in supporting our procurement functions, ensuring that all purchasing activities align with the company's strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement processes, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the Facility Management or related industries.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and supplier management.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Proficient in procurement software and tools, with a strong command of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.

Salary:
QAR 13,000 to 18,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
