Project and will be responsible to draft, review or recommend any project management related documents as required.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

- Ensure and review project management compliance related to Projects
- Liaise with various internal teams and external stakeholders to effectively manage various Projects
- Striving to reach the highest professional standards and adopt best practice methods
- Ensure coordination and reporting is of a level that assists in the timely delivery of Project deliverables and facilitate all logistics and handover activities
- Assists the client project team to monitor and review the activities of the supervision consultant and contractors during the implementation of projects
- Assist with planning and implementation of project
- Facilitate the definition of project scope and goals
- Assist with defining project tasks and resource requirements
- Develop full scale project plans
- Help manage project budget
- Help manage project resource allocation
- Assist with planning and scheduling project timelines
- Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
- Quality assurance
- Responsible for specific project delivery across all disciplines (technical, quality, commercial, project controls (programme, planning, risk, systems compliance etc.)
- Provide support primarily to the client project team where required on project management matters
- Assists client project team to collect and update periodic reports for the projects and submit them to higher management in Client to provide clear information on the status and extent of progress of work in the projects
- Provide the required support to assist in the timely payment of invoices and resolutions of variations and claims

Requirements

Candidate Specification

Essential Candidate Requirements:

- University degree from a recognised University in an appropriate field such as, Civil Engineering, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Procurement, Construction Management or equivalent
- Minimum of 8 years post graduate experience with experience in major infrastructure projects or programmes; preference will be given to roads, aviation, structures or rail related experience
- In-depth knowledge of project management procedures
- Technically proficient in all aspects of project management such as technical, commercial, project controls (programme, planning, risk, systems compliance etc.
- Effective in building good working relationships within complex structures, both internally and with various project stakeholders
