As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the restaurant under the direction of a Restaurant Manager.

Also you have an exciting opportunity to assist the Food and Beverage Manager and Executive Chef to set up the restaurants and deal with all pre-opening phase.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and prepare the restaurant before and after service.
- Hold overall responsibility for the safe keeping of restaurant property within the restaurant area
- Give fast, efficient and polite service to the maximum of your ability.
- Consider the customer's satisfaction at all times.
- Clear tables
- Ensure the section is left neat and tidy at the end of the shift
- Have a thorough working knowledge of the menus and be able to describe all dishes on the menu to clients if asked.
- Take customer orders accurately and book them through our billing system to the correct table or account at all times.
- Always ensure the Duty manager is aware of any problems with the billing procedure.
- Always ensure the Duty manager is aware of any complaints or problems no matter how trivial it may seem to you.
- Comply with the company policy on restaurant complimentary, gradings, liaising with the management.
- Please make sure all equipment, cutlery, crockery, glassware, linen etc. is properly looked after and is clean, tidy and in tip top condition
- Bring to the attention of the manager any areas where the restaurant service could be improved.
- Thorough working knowledge of Health and Safety Policy, and to ensure by good housekeeping that correct standards of hygiene, cleanliness and safely.
- Ensure the time keeping of the members of staff as per rosters.

Requirements

- 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role in 5 star hospitality environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Must have an excellent knowledge of HACCP standards
- Ability to multitask, work in a fast paced environment and have a high level attention to detail
- Maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments
