Corporate Bilingual Attorney - Doha, Qatar
International Heavy Weight - US Law Firm / New Alliance
Need to be admitted in the Qatar.
An International law firm based in the UAE, Doha, are seeking a Junior / Mid Level Corporate Attorney for their Commercial & Corporate team. They are seeking a formally admitted lawyer with some level of exposure to the GCC to join their growing practice and to assist the seniors in their increasing work load.
The firms is well regarded in the commercial field having build up a practise in the Qatar and looking to build upon this with this particular hire. The firm has in position several high level clients who are using them exclusively as outside counsel on overseas corporate and commercial transactions.
Ideally candidates will have been admitted in a recognised jurisdiction and have between 2-5 years experience. Candidates will have a proved track record in non contentious matters and be confident in their ability to advise and assist high profile clients in the region.
Requirements
All candidates will be:
- Confident corporate M&A, JV's and Commercial contract drafting
- Company start ups and free zones
- Fully bilingual in Arabic & English
- Have at least two years on the ground in the UAE
- They WILL have LL.M and J.D's from to level UK / US universities.
Ideally candidates will:
- Be based in the GCC
- Have several clients they are confident will move with them
The client is seeking candidates who are committed to the region for the long term and looking to make a career move.
Salary is dependent on the candidate in question but salaries will be around the 25,000 QAR.
