Opening mid 2022, Rixos Doha Qetaifan will comprise a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sq m of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park and a waterpark. The resort will boast panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Slated to make its debut right before the World Cup, Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country's biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North's waterpark attraction The Icon Tower, the world's highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres in height.

Attractions Operations Support Manager - Waterpark

This position assists the Operations Manager-Attractions to ensure the Operations-Attractions Department runs safely and efficiently. Ensures that the supervisory team effectively manages front-line Heartiest and that all training and customer service is delivered at a high standard.

What you will be doing:

- Create and adjust departmental policies, procedures and forms, including the creation of all necessary documents for our rides and attractions, based on existing templates.
- Manage the development and monitor completion of construction for all our rides and attraction related facilities.
- Provide support for recruitment, interviewing, and hiring all necessary positions for the Operations-Attractions department.
- Develop detailed labor line schedules and line-item budgets for all our rides and attractions.
- Support the Operations Manager-Attractions in the day-to-day operations of the Waterpark
- Plan, book and deliver on and off job training as required to ensure best possible service standards as well as Colleague development.
- Openly communicate appropriate and useful information through various channels to include area meetings and briefings.
- Ensure departmental policies, procedures and performance standards are being implemented and maintained throughout their area to ensure high levels of customer service.
- Ensure a safe and efficient operation of all attractions at all time
- Review accuracy of any checklists and records completed in their area and analyze
- Coordinate any inventory/stock take activities required in their area ensuring sufficient stock always remains on hand and reducing stock loss/wastage
- Participate in daily operations alongside their Colleagues setting a positive example
- Foster a harmonious atmosphere among Colleagues in their area and brings team members together through team activities

Requirements

Your experience and skills include:

- Degree/diploma
- Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
- Arabic Speaker will be preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory position in a waterpark or related field
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and training skills
- Service-oriented with an eye for details
- Well-presented and professionally groomed at all times
