Job Summary:
Performs a wide variety of drafting duties that utilize Computer-Aided Design/Drafting (CAD) in developing engineering, graphical, architectural and drafting designs
Key Responsibilities:
• Performs drafting operations for the determination of project plans and collects data for Project designs.
• Prepares complex drawings for Engineering Projects specifically for mall or shopping infrastructures
• Develops and drafts engineering drawings and plans, drafts contract documents and generates correspondence for clients and managers
• Performs fieldwork and/or site supervisor, documentation, research and drafting tasks of engineering data as requested
• Performs regular computer software and AutoCAD maintenance, upgrading and troubleshooting
• Maintains up to date working and technical knowledge of all procedural and improvement changes to computer hardware and software applications
• Other Duties, as may be assigned from time to time
Requirements
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
• AutoCAD Certification
• Works as they relate to CAD drafting
• Skill in updating, maintaining, operating and evaluating all AutoCAD software and related equipment
• Minimum 5 years work experience specifically on a contracting background drafting, pref. gained from the GCC region
• Knowledge of Revit and BIM software would be an advantage, but not required
