Job description / Role
The AVP, Finance in Qatar will be responsible to manage the Financial Accounting & Reporting while ensuring accurate complete delivery and compliance with accounting standards as well as audit procedures.
Client Details: Large Investment Bank
The AVP, Finance in the Financial Services industry will be responsible for the following:
* Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records and conformance to reporting procedural standards
* Reviews of revenue, expense, investments, financings, and related correcting entries
* Review of reconciliations for foreign investments, portfolio investments, financing deals, FX hedging etc
* Ensure maintenance of general ledger
* Review of subsidiaries and associates management accounts on a monthly basis
* Review of monthly consolidations prepared for Group reporting and management reporting purposes
* Review of new deal structures and documents to prepare accounting analysis and ensure correct accounting treatment in the books.
