Rixos Qetaifan Island North

Opening mid-2022, Rixos Doha Qetaifan will comprise a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sqm of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park and a waterpark. The resort will boast panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Slated to make its debut right before the World Cup, Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country's biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North's waterpark attraction The Icon Tower, the world's highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres in height.

Bellboy

Carries out luggage service for the guests during check-in and checkout and extends further assistance by escorting and giving information.

What you will be doing:

- Handles luggage operation for groups and individuals in and out.
- Loads and unloads luggage in front of the hotel.
- Carries luggage to and from the room.
- Registers and follows up on hold luggage.
- Controls and cleans up the luggage room and looks after the maintenance.
- Watches and controls luggage trolleys and takes these to engineering for maintenance when necessary.
- Greets guests at all times.
- Escorts guests to their rooms with or without luggage and gives basic information about the room and facilities.
- Keeps himself fully informed of hotel facilities, services, events and promotions.
- Distributes newspapers, faxes, messages and parcels.
- Makes paging service for the guests in the Lobby.
- Assists or makes room changes for the guests.
- Makes physical wake-up calls for the guests when necessary.
- Performs outside services for guests when necessary.
- Changes flags and hangs banners.
- Controls room keys for groups and individuals when necessary.
- Makes room check when necessary.
- Makes photocopy for the guests.
- Makes interoffice paper transportation when necessary.
- Receives goods from Store Room and delivers them to Front Office.
- Reports any unusual events to the concierge.
- Provides general information to the guests.
- Watches cleanliness and tidiness of the Lobby area, informs Housekeeping and/or Engineering for requirements of cleaning or maintenance.
- Knows and follows the fire and safety procedures of the hotel.
- Performs duties assigned by his/her supervisor.

Requirements

Your experience and skills include:

- Male.
- His work area is open air and requires standing for long period of time in various weather conditions. Lifts pushes and carries heavy luggage.
- Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Management.
- Ability to work from multiple shifts includes night shift.
- English is necessary; a second European language is an asset.
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
