Job description / Role
We are currently recruiting a Project Manager on behalf of a leading IT consultancy who are looking for a professional to be accountable for the success of the full project lifecycle (initiation, planning, execution, controlling & closing).
This role will report into the Senior Director of PMO & Operations, the successful candidate will work closely with the Sales Executives (for initial handover) and with the Technical team of BI Consultants assigned to the project (for implementation and delivery).
The ideal candidate is an intermediate level Project Manager with experience managing IT projects however can also be comfortable within a nice BI consultancy environment.
Requirements
Applications are sought from those with ideally 7 years plus total experience of which you would have initially been a developer/ technical expert and progressed into IT project management within a "strong-matrix" environment working with external clients. You will have experience in PM roles executing enterprise scale systems (i.e CRM, ERP, BI systems). Experience in managing SAP or BI projects would be highly beneficial.
You will be educated to degree in level in computer/information sciences and/or a business related subject. An industry recognised qualification such as PMP or Prince 2 is essential and it would be ideal to have either Agile or Scrum certificates.
